Youth Olympic Games Selection – Nanjing 2014


 

 

 

The selection document for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games has now been approved by the Australian Olympic Committee.  This document details the selection criteria for those who have completed the Consent to Consideration for Nomination Form by March 20th. A copy of the Selection Policy can be downloaded from the link below.  In the meantime, archers planning to nominate for selection should be shooting QREs to achieve the best scores they can and should be aware of the following:

The Performance Criteria as submitted to AOC is as follows; 

 

                  Male Archers – three QRE scores (WA 60/720) greater than or equal to 620

 

                  Female Archers – three QRE scores (WA 60/720) greater than or equal to 600

 

Male archers may shoot equivalent WA70/1440, Female archers may shoot equivalent WA60/1440

 

The final date for the three scores will be 15th April – NYAC Target Event.

 

The scores from 15th April, Cadet Recurve, Target event will be used to rank those archers who have met the Performance Criteria. The highest ranked male and female archer will be nominated by AA.

 

Consideration For Nomination

 

AOC requires information from AA in March for those archers planning to nominate for selection.

 

Archers who wish to register an interest in this selection will need to supply the following items by 20th March:

 

1. Completed “Consent to Consideration For Nomination Form”

 

2. Colour PDF of Passport Front (Detail) Page

 

3. JPEG Passport Photograph as per “Photo Acceptance Criteria”

 

Only archers whose items above have been received by AA by 20th March will be eligible for the selection process.
